The Boosted Reality Platform (BRP) is a ready-built system that connects physical game pieces to a companion app, with in-app purchases built in. You bring the IP and the game design. We provide the technology.

REVENUE BEYOND THE BOX

Most tabletop revenue streams end with the initial sale. BRP adds ongoing in-app revenue potential on top of tabletop box sales.

  • In-app purchases. New units, factions, gear, abilities, and scenarios. Gear can be fully digital, so you can continue to add items players collect via the app. 
  • Updates without reprints. Games designed for BRP ship with a slim rulebook that explains how the companion app works and some foundations about the game, such as lore and factions. Rules, balancing, and even terrain or map effects live in the app, so they can change anytime. Reprints are only needed for new miniatures or physical map components.
  • Digital marketplace. A digital-only item marketplace, similar to how the Roblox or Clash of Clans marketplace functions. 
  • Physical sales. The box and expansions still sell as you would normally sell them.
