Rift Zone: Contact is a hybrid tabletop strategy game where static physical assets come to life through Augmented Reality (AR), creating a smarter, more immersive battlefield.

AR brings the battlefield to life

Flat terrain image tiles bloom into three dimensional colony structures, mountain ranges, fungal forests, and alien ruins.

Plastic miniatures are enhanced, displaying health, status effects, movement and firing ranges, etc.

The app does the heavy lifting

Meanwhile, the app on your phone is doing all of the tedious work for you: tracking unit and systems damage, action points, calculating range- and terrain-based to-hit and damage modifiers, doing matchmaking, tracking unit experience and advancement...the list goes on.
